Month End Inventory
Summary
In this course, attendees learn how to do a physical inventory count of cased goods and merchandise in AMS. Attendees will learn step by step of how to do an inventory count from creating an inventory batch to adjusting perpetual inventory to reconcile to physical inventory. Attendees will also learn how to upload an inventory count into AMS versus entering counts one by one. Attendees will also learn how to do an inventory count using a tablet and scanner. Attendees will learn about the sort and select fields in AMS reports and run inventory reconciliation reports. Attendees work with test data to create simple and complex inventory batches, enter counts, and adjust inventory.

Course objectives
After attending this course, attendees should be able to:
-create different varieties of inventory batches
-go through each step necessary in AMS to complete a physical inventory count
-create an excel counting worksheet and upload counts into AMS
-Do a physical inventory count using a scanner and tablet
-Use the sort and select fields in AMS reports in order to format their inventory reports how they desire
